La Redoute Capsule Wardrobe #C'estPourMoi - Diary Post

I'm taking part in La Redoute's Capsule Wardrobe Campaign - here's all of my looks!

Over the past 5 days, you have seen me style this fabulous shirt in five different ways and here they are all together. I'm going to give you a little run down of my thoughts behind each outfit and the occasion for which I would wear them. I hope you enjoy!

1. Working Girl

When I thought about creating this outfit, I pictured myself working in a city, strutting my way to my incredible job, picking up my morning coffee and haling taxis. Every girl wants to look the part at work but also likes the keep things as stylish as possible - this is totally how I would do it. I styled the shirt a long with my H&M pencil skirt, my Pretty Little Thing coat, my white heels and vintage earrings. I think monochrome is the best way to go when it comes to work wear - it always looks super sophisticated.

2. Every Day

This is look suitable for everyday wear. The cute peter pan collar works perfectly with the soft pink trench and the whole outfit is nice enough to look good but still be super comfy for running errands. I chose to wear my Topshop jeans to add a little pop of colour and my heeled Chelsea boots help to add a bit of excitement to the look. When choosing an everyday outfit, picking something that is going to be comfy but also something that's going to be nice and stylish too is a great way to go.

3. Girly Girl

This ended up being one of my favourite looks. The shirt already has that girly vibe about it so I knew I had to make myself feel a little like a princess with this look. Picture me in a field picking flowers and singing to animals and you'll get what I'm going for! I styled the shirt here along with my ASOS pink midi and my ASOS pointed heels. Even if you're not a 'girly girl' you can create a look like this just by adding a little pink colour just like I've done here.

4. Bad Ass

Despite this shirt being pretty feminine, I wanted to create a look that would appeal to you rebels out there. With this look I envisioned Cat Woman and biker gals and grabbed for my ASOS skinny trousers and pointy heels. This look would be perfect for a day on the town and can easily be transitioned into an evening outfit. I think black is a great colour when it comes to creating more 'edgy' outfits and even if you're styling a feminine item like this shirt, it can really work.

5. Comfy and Classy

I thought about the comfiest item that I owned and DUNGAREES immediately sprung to mind. However, I didn't want to make this look too slouchy so slipping on my Topshop pointed flats adds a bit of class back to the outfit and nicely contrasts with the oversized dungarees - a perfect look for a lazy day and chilling with friends. When styling a shirt more comfortably than the usual 'super formal' I think it's nice to still keep your look quite chic and clean looking.
