Style The Same Dress with New Look

Hello hello hello! Today I have such an exciting collaboration for you and that is with the one and only New Look! They kindly got in contact with me and challenged me to style one of their gorgeous Occasion dresses for two different summer occasions. I chose this gorgeous Shell Pink Sleeveless Prom Dress (which is only a bargain at £24.99!) and this cute White Mini Bag to go along with it.

First up, I decided to go with the idea of a 'Garden Party' event. I know this is something that's really big this Spring/Summer and although I can't actually see myself getting invited to a cute dressy garden party any time soon, it was nice to dress up and pretend like I had been haha!

I decided to style the dress and bag along with my white heels and a pink lip. I love how to shoes and the bag match so well and tie the look together and the pop of pink on my lips really helps to finish off the look. I think the contrast between the white and pink is just lovely and a bit of a change from matching pink dresses with pink heels! If you're someone who's a little more into accessories and stuff as well, then adding a necklace or a simple silver bracelet would be a great finishing touch!

Then, I thought about trying to dress the outfit down a bit, maybe for a day out shopping with your gals! I decided to style the dress and bag along with a denim jacket and white dolly shoes to create a more casual vibe. I also added the longer strap to the bag since for a shopping day out, this would be so much easier to carry around with you! I think this look works really well and despite the dress being a 'Prom' style, it's great that it's still possible to dress it down and make a more laid-back look!

So, there you go - that's the same dress styled for two different kind of summer occasions! Make you sure you head on over to the New Look website and check out their amazing Occasion hub because they have some absoloutley gorgeous pieces (as made evident in this post!) and they're just so affordable too! And also, let me know if this has inspired you to try and dress down one of your more 'fancier' dresses, because it's sooooo fun to do!

I shall love you and leave you! ♥

  1. Aww I love it when you're wearing pink! It's just soooo flattering on you:3

I love the second look. It's a nice idea to dress down fancy dresses, otherwise we would wear them way too unfrequent. I personally would go for a darker denim and boots, but your girly option is adorable, too!
