Okay, so when this landed on my doorstep it was very hard to hold back the tears. If you know me, then you'll know that I'm a huge fan of Benefit; I've been wearing They're Real! Mascara for as long as I can remember and it was actually Benefit who were the first ever people to re-post a photo of me on Instagram (my Mum even has it in a photo frame haha). Basically, to get to the point, I love Benefit. And so, when this turned up completely out of the blue, much to my surprise, it was very hard not to feel super overwhelmed and emotional.
First of all, a HUGE thank you to Ruth from Benefit for even sending this to me in the first place - it honestly made my year! And, yes, I might sound like I'm being waaaaaaaay too over dramatic and silly about being sent a box in the post, but, to Me, this is a BIG DEAL.
For a huge brand like Benefit to work with me on something - even if it is just on a gifting basis - is just absolutely incredible to me - it is definitely a poignant moment in my Blogging career.
Anyway, enough emotional rambling.. let me tell you about these lipsticks!
The Benefit They're Real! Double The Lip Lipsticks are a lip liner and a lipstick in one! Basically, the tip of the product lines and defines your lip, whilst the rest fills in your lips with a perfect pairing of a lipstick - how bloody cool?!
They come in 8 amazing shades that range from neutrals, to berry shades and and reds, with fun and fabulous names such as 'Revved Up Red' and 'Flame Game'. They're creamy and the colours blend together really nicely, which is just what you want. They apply really easily by simply gliding onto your lips, and of course, you just have to rotate the product round once you move onto your lower lip to ensure that the liner is always on the outer part, and voila!
I'd say that the pigmentation with these is pretty damn good. I love a bold lip so am always looking for 'stand out' kind of colours, and there are definitely a few in here. I find them to be lovely and creamy - almost quite velvety and they last a good few hours (although, not the 8 that they're said to).

Overall, I definitely say these are worth investing in - even if you just pick up the shade you most like the look of. They come across as quite a 'gimmick' before you try them, but as per usual, Benefit pull it out of the bag! These are FAB and FUN too!
