If there's one thing I always lust after each and every autumn/winter, it's that perfect party piece that's going to make me feel fine and fabulous on the approach to the festive season. Whether it's a dress, a sparkly suit, or simply a cosy knit with that little bit of something extra to it, I like to feel like I've got the celebratory outfit sorted.

I wanted to bring this amazing 'Hailey' dress from LPA X Revolve to your attention, as I have just not stopped thinking about it ever since it landed on my doorstep.

This piece was kindly gifted to me by Revolve and, oh my lord, am I just over the moon with it. Everything from the polka dots, to the silky design and feathery trim is just so perfectly 'Me' and it's just a timeless, yet unique piece, I just love love love it!

I had never ordered anything from Revolve before, but had always been eyeing things up and adding them to my wish-list for future 'treat-yoself' purchases. However, because of that, I really wasn't sure how the sizing would be. I got this dress in a size S, as I'm usually a UK 8, however I'd definitely say I could have probably sized down in this, only because it's a little loose on the shoulders, but other than that, it fits really comfortably and, to be honest, I'm not sure I could squeeze my booty into an XS (especially not around Festive season either lol).

A size S is probably best for me anyway - I always like my pieces to fit slightly loose, just to allow room to breathe and room to eat, and all those other daily tasks I need to get on with - I've never been one to feel my best in super tight fitting pieces!

"life is too short to wear boring dresses"

There's so many ways I could style this dress too - I can't wait to delve into trying on all the different options (as soon as someone invites me to a swanky party that is, of course).

I picture this with some cute black heels and a black faux fur jacket for a more simple look, but can also see myself adding in pops of colour with some bold blue statement earrings and a navy duster. The possibilities are endless, and I want to try them all!

I'm so happy to have a dress like this in my collection and it's got me so excited to be heading into the colder months, ready to celebrate anything and everything (because that's what November and December are for... duh!).

Let me know what you think of this dress, and whether you've been eyeing up any new pieces ready for party season too!
