Recently I've been a very busy bee so have been loving embracing my no-make up look on my days off and have also forgotten how to have nice hair, so please forgive my appearance haha.

In today's post, I've styled some of my favourite pieces of the moment all together to create a bit of comfy yet still stylish 'off-duty' look.

Zara Sweat - I picked up this sweater/jumper the other day after eyeing it up on the Zara website. I'm not usually one to gravitate towards anything cropped but I just really love the style. The crop and the high neck look so cool and the simple grey colour means it's super easy to throw on with any look!

In The Style Skirt - You've seen this bad boy before. This skirt is absolutely amazing! It fits me perfectly and makes my figure look so good *thank you clothing gods* whilst also just being super easy to put on with the zip up fastening. The navy colour helps to add a bit of a 'pop' to my outfits too, but I would also absolutely love this in black as well! eeek!

Public Desire Boots - I got these beauties for Christmas and completely adore them. They are very high, so a little tricky to walk in, but they're amazing nonetheless. They make my legs look nice and long and slim whilst also just adding a kind of 'chic' vibe to a look. Loveeeeee!

Off Duty In My Faves

Here I am, trying to sport something oversized again. I'm really not sure if I can pull of this look, but I'm giving it my best go!

Anyway, hello you lot! Today's post features this fabulous jumper dress that Lilylulu kindly sent me to write about. Now, you may be thinking 'Holly? Colourful clothing? Again?' and whilst you might be right in the fact that I have been awfully adventurous, I did originally pick the black version of this haha. Unfortunately, the black one was out of stock, so they asked if I'd like the burgundy one and well, why the hell not ey?!

I always see so many beautiful bloggers wearing these jumper dresses with their high knee boots and smokin hot figures and I always want to look like them! Unfortunately, I'm not blessed with a bootylicious figure and represent something much more like a piece of cardboard but again, I still wanted to give it a go!

I simply styled this Roll Neck Chunky Knit Jumper Dress along with my gorgeous Public Desire boots and a bit of a hair tuck of course. The jumper is such a stand out piece because of the style and colour, that it's easy to leave it to do all the talking! I also went for a bit of pinky/purple lip to match and tie the whole look together.

Let me know what you think, can I pull this off?!

Good morning everyone! In today's post I'm working with Pixi Beauty to show you how to get glowy and hydrated skin, ready to tackle that winter weather and also a great, fresh make up look to work along side with it. Pixi kindly sent me a selection of their products to try out and today I'm going to talk you through them all!

SKINCARE:

Cleansing Balm
Personally, I have never used a balm cleanser before so, this is all very new to me. This cleanser is balm-to-oil and has quite a thick and heavy feel. It's said to deep cleanse and nourish this skin whilst melting away make up and impurities.

If you prefer a more heavy duty cleanser than this is definitely for you. It really stays on the skin whilst your working it in which is good because you can really feel it doing it's job. The balm doesn't emulsify so, you do need to rinse it away with a cloth or flannel of some sort. Also, it uses sweet almond oil and shea butter which means it smells amazing!

Nourishing Sleep Mask
This is an overnight mask said to provide a nutrient-rich veil of moisture to heal and protect the skin while you sleep. Some overnight formulas are super heavy and sticky but this one absorbs really nicely into the skin.

I've found this has left my skin feeling sooo smooth the next day and is a really nice alternative to using something with an oily texture.

Hydrating Milky Mist
This stuff is great when you feel like you just need a little 'pick-me-up'. You can use this both with and without make up and it just manages to give your skin that boost of moisture it needs.

It sinks in really quickly and leaves you with a lovely glow!

Glow Tonic
I got so so excited to try this after hearing Zoe Sugg rave about it so much over on her YouTube channel and lets just say, yes, it does live up to her hype.

I've heard people call this a 'miracle product' and from what I've tried of it, it's pretty darn good! The scent is nice and refreshing, which makes it so much nicer to use. I have quite scarred and bumpy skin with the odd dry patch and this has definitely helped smooth it all out a little and give me much more of a glow.

Glow Mud Cleanser
This is great as a second cleanse! It's perfect for brightening up the skin and removing all traces of make up. It's said to be a deep pore cleansing mud that gently exfoliates while purifying and I would say it definitely does that!

Rose Oil Blend
A luxe, ultra-nourishing oil that rejuvenates, restores and renews skins luminosity - urrrmmmm YES PLEASE!

This stuff absorbs quickly into the skin and helps to sooth and calm redness whilst also smelling bloomin' amazing with it's floral/rose scent!

H2O Skindrink
Skin need a drink? This stuff is for you! It is sooo refreshing with a lovely light texture and just rehydrates your skin so well! It's nice and cool and leaves your skin feeling soft - love it!

MAKE UP:

Now, we all need a glowy make up look to go along with our glowy new skin, right? Well no look no further! I've got you covered.

Lash Booster Mascara
I barely ever try out new mascaras but I'm so glad I got to try this! This mascara curls and lengthens the lashes whilst keeping them looking thick and full at the same time. It comes in two shades: Blackest Black and Blackest Blue, which is always a bonus and is waterproof too!

Lash Line Ink
If you know me, you'll know I don't tend to wear eye liner - although I'm always up for giving it a go! Just applying a thin line to my outer lid helps to make my lashes look that little bit thicker and defined, which is perfect.

It applies smoothly with a pen style applicator and the colour is nice and opaque too!

Mattelustre Lipstick
This feels absoloutley amazing on the lips! It's deff my fav thing from this entire blog post.

These lipsticks go on super smoothly and last ages on. Despite the 'matte' in the name, these lipsticks are soo hydrating and creamy! I love love love! ♥

Book Of Beauty - Touch Of Blush
This is a lovely little palette with 6 different blush shades, perfect for brightening up the cheeks and bringing your make up look to life.

I personally gravitated towards the more peachy shades but all 6 of the shades are absolutely gorgeous. There's a mixture of velvet matte shades and multidimensional glimmer depending on how glowy you like your look to be. The fact that they come in a little book-like palette is perfect too!

So, that's everything I have to chat to you about today! Hopefully you're feeling a little inspired to treat your skin and give it that nice refreshing glow, ready in time for Spring and also test out some new beauty bits as well. If you try any of these products, please let me know down in the comments and also, it would be great to see some of you recreating this make up look yourself - I'd love to see that!

You can shop this post by heading on over to the Pixi Beauty website and also via the Wearisma app!

I shall love you and leave you! ♥♥

You may have noticed over the course of my blogging life that I'm not really one to accessorize. That's not because I don't want to! It's more that 1. I'm a bit crap at it and 2. I don't have that many great accessories to work with!

Recently, I got sent this gorgeous Daisy Dixon watch and it's made me want to up my accessorising game soooo bad! I love the silver, simple style and it's just perfect to add that little bit of something extra to an outfit. I've always kind of disliked watches and have never worn one, but after this, I have been converted! I wouldn't necessarily I use it to tell the time, but I definitely use it to jazz up my outfits and that's okay too haha.

Daisy Dixon have some fabulous watches which you should definitely go and check out. You can do that by clicking here and heading to their website!

Holy crap I'm wearing trainers. Yeah, you saw right. For once, I don't in fact have high heels on! Do I look shorter? ahaha.

Hey guys! Today's post is an unusual one for me. I decided I wanted to try out a bit of a sporty vibe after spotting this fab dress on ASOS over in December and thinking just how chic, yet edgy it was. I actually stole my Dad's coat for this look (ooops sorry Dad) and threw on my Adidas because well, my usual black high heels don't really scream 'SPORTS' do they?

It was kind of a spur of the moment outfit. I wanted to try and pair the dress with a hoodie or something like that, but they're not really my thing. So, I just thought an oversized coat would give the look a bit of 'attitude' (I swear to god, the way I describe things I could legit be my Mum). The dress is actually by Daisy Street and I just love the fit, the material, everything! I haven't a clue where my Dad's coat is from haha but I honestly love the oversize fit on me (although I'm pretty sure it's meant to be a fitted jacket on him)

Let me know if you're feeling this sporty look on me and whether it's something I should try out more often!

Hey Look, Dad! I'm Sporty!

I am 100% not ready in any of these photos because it was hella windy this day, so please forgive me. But, hey! Here's an outfit that I completely forgot to post before the new year!

This isn't a usual outfit for me. I love fitted clothes, tucking tops into jeans and clip clopping along in my high heels - it isn't often you'll find me in a baggy jumper and comfy leggings unless I'm sat lazying around in bed. However, on freezing cold wintry days, there's nothing better than throwing on loads of layers and staying cosy and warm.

Here I'm wearing a comfy white tee from Boohoo Mens, my grey H&M jumper, my Levi's Denim Jacket and a pair of leggings because... COMFORT. It's such a simple outfit (much like all my outfits) but it still looks pretty cool whilst allowing me to contain at least 50% body heat (why are there so many percentages in this blog post???)

Let me know what you think of this different kind of look down in the comments and maybe give me some tips on layering clothes, because I definitely need some practice at it haha!
