All that's on my mind right now is the potential sunshine-filled Summer days ahead. The idea of meeting friends outside, ice-cold ciders in hand, and a fabulous summer wardrobe to accompany the situation - it's all making me really excited for what lies ahead. I mean, I know there's no promise of Summer being this way, but it's really nice to feel hopeful for once and have something to look forward to.

Lately, I've found myself dealing with some kind of Stockholm Syndrome spending so much time working from my bedroom and never really having an escape, besides the occasional walk or two, of course. Don't get me wrong, I love working from home, left to my own devices to get creative, but after a year long period of it, I'm really starting miss my pals and life outside of the village I live in.

I'm so ready to be reunited with Manchester again. I miss the Northern Quarter charm and those acquaintances that I bump into in bars and cafes, and I even miss the dreaded walk through Piccadilly Gardens, trying to swerve my way round the hustle and bustle.

The life I'm daydreaming about post-lockdown seems completely out of reach at the moment, but I'm hopeful that as the months pass, it will become a reality and I'll be tipsily giggling with my friends in the sunshine soon.

Sending love to you all and here's to a wonderful post-lockdown Summer!
