I'm so happy to be saying we're finally in Spring! March has been such a good month so far which, given the gloomy, quiet and uninspired start to the year, I didn't really expect it to be...

I've been trying to push myself out of my 'covid-lockdown anxiety induced' comfort zone this year. My main goal was to say yes to more things and push myself to see and do more things, and this month it really feels like my plan is in motion. I'm currently writing this with a stuffy nose and a sore throat though, so there has been the occasional set-back haha.

Anyway, today I thought I'd catch you up on what I've been up to lately, as well as just writing it as almost a little diary entry for myself too. There's lots to share, but whether my lurgy-d brain will have the ability to write a lot about it will be another question, so it might be very picture heavy... but enjoy!

I mean, who doesn't love a good trip to IKEA? My Mum and I popped to our local furniture heaven for a little afternoon out together and to pick up a piece that I needed (well, wanted). We'd both not been in so long, so it took a lot of willpower for us not to come home with ever wicker basket, and cute trinket in sight. We actually only decided to go after I was going to order a mirror from the site and the delivery was almost as much as the mirror itself - yikes!

One weekend, Hannah and I headed down to the Trafford Center too. We stopped by to check out the Bobbi Brown Pro Pop Up and it was such a lovely afternoon out, filled with beauty talks and tips, a little 15 minute make-over that made us feel fantastic, and discovering all about some of their new launches. *PR visit.

I had a lovely afternoon catching up with my friend Lauren, and also discovering a new coffee shop called The Alan in Manchester - it's probably the most aesthetically pleasing places, ever! We also headed to The Refuge later that evening to check out the Women's Work Photography Exhibition to celebrate International Women's Day, which was really nice.

Josh and I had a super busy Saturday that weekend, which actually turned out to be what was probably one of my favourite days of 2022 so far. It's not that anything major happened, it was just really nice haha. We jumped on the train into Manchester to visit the Dei Dei pop up and discover more about the brand - I also bumped into some friendly faces there which was lovely! We then stopped by PLY for some delicious lunch. We had pizza, olives and lots of cheese - it was SO good. I always forget how much I love PLY. My parents were also in town, so we decided to meet up with them and their friends for a couple of drinks, which was just a really lovely spontaneous end to the day and such a laugh.

Last but not least, Hannah and I got treated to a lovely morning at Selfridges Personal Shopping with the amazing fragrance brand Maison Francis Kurkdjian. We got to chat to Eva Carlo, a fragrance expert, in a lovely bespoke consultation and discover all about the different scents on their stories. I really fell in love with so many of their scents, but ultimately really fell for their Baccarat Rouge 540. Oh, and there was delicious pastries and fizz - how could I forget that! Yum!
