It all starts after months and months of me waiting my hair to become long luscious locks. I do this a lot. I grow my hair out, decide that I'm finally going to try maintaining long hair and then...I get bored after about 5 minutes. I have very flat, straight hair, so I just feel like it being long completely gets in my way.

The next thing I do; I book myself in at the hair dressers and jump straight back to collar bone length. This is the safety zone. I'm happy with my hair here, it's easy to style, sits nicely and it's comfortable. But...

I want my hair to be daring, unusual but well, simple all at the same time. This is where I let whoever is cutting my hair get completely scissor-happy. Just cut it off!

Finally, I'm left with my chin length bob. Blunt. Sleek. Simple. I have to admit at first I thought I had made a mistake. However, after styling it myself and getting used to it. I really like it!

At the end of the day, hair grows back! If you're thinking about cutting your hair but are a little bit unsure, just be gradual - especially if you have had long hair for a while. Don't dare to be too daring until you feel it in your gut. Though, I always say that getting a new hair style is always fun and can keep you feeling really refreshed.
