With Valentines Day just around the corner, Look Fantastic kindly let me treat myself and a loved one (I chose my Momma, of course) to a pamper 'date night' in! I really wanted to celebrate Valentines Day, despite it not being the usual romantic-meal and fancy restaurant fun it normally is, by creating an ‘at home spa’ experience with hair treats, candles and skincare essentials.

My Mum and I love trying out new products, as well as having our go-to favourites, so we thought we'd treat ourselves to a couple of new bits and bobs to have a relaxing evening with. Let's see a couple of the things we picked out!

Nothing sets the mood for a relaxing evening more than a candle. I think I've gotten through about a million candles since we've been in lockdown, so I wanted to treat myself to another new one and one from a brand I hadn't tried before.

I picked out this NEOM one, having heard so many amazing things about their candles! I have to say, the scent is amazing - it's really refreshing and yet super calming at the same time. It's probably going to lead to a huge NEOM addiction, to be honest. My Mum loves candles too, so there's definitely going to be a lot of joy from burning this haha!

If there are two people out there that love a body cream or lotion, it's me and my Mum. Just find us sliding out of the bathroom like two silky dolphins after a bath/shower (enjoy that visual haha)

The description of this product says this gives a 'zen-like' experience, which is exactly what we're after and what really drew me in. The reviews were also completely raving and amazing, so I'm really excited to get using this.

A leg oil isn't something I'd tried before, but it sounded like something Momma White and I would be really into, given our love for feeling silky smooth.

I've already tested a little bit of this out today and already really love it. It's SO moisturising, really helping with those stubborn dry areas and it smells amazing too!

Another product I'm super excited to use.

OUAI is another brand I'd heard loads about, and everyone knows that right now, in lockdown, our hair definitely needs some serious TLC, so I thought I'd give them a try. I have quite fine hair, that definitely needs a little boost, so I'm hoping these help with that.

Side note: how aesthetically pleasing is the packaging?! I love it!

Personally, I can't write much about this one, but my Mum loves Olaplex so wanted to stock up on more of her favourite hair treatment.

If Momma White uses it, it must be good!

I have actually heard a lot about Olaplex before, as a lot of my friends use it too. It's said to be amazing for helping dry, damaged hair.

This was another one of my Mum's picks but, let's be honest, I'll probably be using it too when she's not looking...

It's said to be a softening cream that melts onto the skin, giving you a deep, nourishing cleanse, leaving the skin soft and supple, which just sounds absolutely dreamy, doesn't it?

I'm a total sucker for a good cleanser or anything that leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and I don't think I've actually tried anything from Elemis before, so it will be nice to give this a go!
