"No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up"

Recently, I've been spending lots of time in my favourite city, Manchester.

I've been on the train, back and to, meeting up with amazing people and creating fabulous content, and it's been one thing that has really kept me going through some pretty crap days.

If you know quite a bit about me, you know that I tend to go through waves of a lot of different emotions... a lot of the time. Sometimes I'm up, sometimes I'm down, and sometimes I'm somewhere in between, but either way, I think there's something always going on with me.

I tend to be an over-thinker, an over-feeler and someone who can't just be at peace.

So, at times when I'm seriously NOT at peace, and torturing myself in my own mind, it's little things like getting out the house, seeing friendly faces, and doing what I love, that truly reminds me that things will be okay.

Shooting in Manchester, and just being in Manchester in general, brings out this side of me that simply just feels like 'Me'... you know? I feel content, I feel 'in my element', and the fact that I'm getting to do this more and more often these days, is amazing.

It's the process of being able to hop on a train, into an amazing city, meet up with a lovely photographer, or friend, and just have a day of giggles, rather than sitting at home dwelling on things, that is so easy, yet incredibly mood-lifting.

The idea that I've not wasted my day, been super productive, and had fun in the process too, is just so motivating for me. And, I guess I've been feeling slightly overwhelmed with work lately - everyone wanting things done for certain deadlines and emails flooding into my inbox every day - but then going out and shooting brilliant content reminds me why I do it all, and it's simply because it really does bring me so much happiness.

So, to all of the lovely people who I've worked with or met up with in Manchester recently, and the brands I've been collaborating with, thank you for making me smile!

Talking of things that have put a smile on my face, I can't not mention this gorgeous bag, which was kindly gifted to me by Radley.

It's the Palace Street Small Flap-over Cross Body Bag and is honestly one of the most lovely little bags ever!

I love the simplicity of the design that still manages to incorporate that classic Radley logo, as well as the fact that, despite looking like not the most spacious of bags, it manages to fit quite a lot in it (Mary Poppins, do I hear you're looking for a new mini bag?).

It's the perfect addition to this outfit, working perfectly with my sassy black jacket and gold hoop earrings - it's colour co-ordination heaven!

And, if you want to get your hands on this lovely bag too, and create your own minimal yet fabulous look, simply head to the Radley website by clicking HERE.
